Tractor Pop Art

Something a little different today. In art class we are learning about pop art. As I was searching the web I saw this picture that seemed to stick out at me. The tractor in this picture is a ford 8n and the reason it stuck out is because I own a ford 8n. This isn't your average pop art picture, but it was something that interests me. In my opinion this is one of the coolest pieces of pop art that I've seen yet.

Tractor Season Coming to a Close

As the leaves change and the tempertatures drop tractor season is starting to come to a close. By tractor season I mean that time of the year when youre out cruising back roads looking for old heeps sitting in fields that haven't been touched in years. Its no fun trying to pull one outta the snow bank so try to look during the spring, summer, and fall months. Has anyone ever tried digging a tractor out of a snow bank?

My Grandpas Pride and Joy

This is my grandpas baby. This Oliver rowcrop 66 is a one of a kind that I know of. Over the couse of the winter my grandpa decided to take a flathead ford v8 out of an old 46 ford pickup and put it in his Oliver. When he obtain the tractor it had a locked up 4cylinder in it. Thats when he decided he wanted to do something different so he stuck a V8 in it. This picture was taken well before the tractor was complete but now the tractor is complete except for one little problem.. we broke the frame! Now he's looking for another rowcrop 66 frame. Does anyone happen to know where i'd be able to get one for dirt cheap so I  can tell him about it?

Back when we were heading to flywheelers. Who knows the year of these two tractors? (Farmall H and Ford 8n)
